We're currently downsizing our breeding program to allow more time for family.
I often get asked when a puppy gets picked up if it's hard to part with them. My general response is that it's not really hard. It's so much fun to hand over a puppy to a family who has been waiting so anxiously, and I know that pup will be so well loved! One of the top three hardest aspects of breeding though, is having to rehome an adult.
The rehoming fee *helps* cover the spay/neuter and dental (if they needed it).
We usually only have 1-2 adults available per year. We've never had this many ready at once.
If you're interested in any of the adults, use the link below to fill out an adult dog application.
We will choose a family based on who we believe is the best fit. As adults get older, they have some quirks about them and I want to make sure people are ok with these things. Sometimes people want a perfect adult dog and that's not realistic. We have loved them for years and it's hard to let them go. We want to feel good about who they're going with.
A contract is required. You'll have two full months to make sure the fit is good. If it doesn't work out, you can bring the dog back for a full refund. The goal is so I can personally make sure they are in the best home possible. I had a bad experience with this in the past and don't want to repeat that mistake.
You must be within 3 hours of driving distance to Topeka, Kansas. Meeting the dog first is a requirement. (as opposed to just using a flight nanny) If it doesn't work out, the dog can also come back to me easier. Many of the adults won't do well on an airplane either since they've either never been, or haven't been on one since they were a puppy.
